I talk to you every day
But you’ll never hear a word
All the things I want to say
Cries that go unheard
I dream about you every night
Dreams of holding you tight
Dreams of a better time
A time when the world was right
I ignore you to fight the pain
That would come when you don’t answer
Or when I’m sent back to the Friend Zone
